Twilight Thursdays at the Sacramento Zoo are June 6 through July 25 (except for July 4th). Seven Thursdays of hot cars, live music, good food and cool drinks. Each Thursday from 5:30 to 8:00 pm come see the live music and a car show; featuring local bands and car-clubs. Dinner and drink specials will also be available for purchase at the Zoo’s Kampala Café. The Zoo will be open extended hours for summer enjoyment until 8:00 pm.

June 6 - Hot Rod Night Live music by: The Count Car show featuring: Hot Rods Featured nonprofit partner: Sacramento Children's Museum Dinner special: Classic drive-in style double burger, onion rings and a mushroom skewer.

June 13 - 80's Night Live music by: Mach 5 Car show featuring: Muscle Cars Featured nonprofit partner: My Sister's House Dinner special: Detroit's favorite Coney Island Dog, two all beef "rippers" topped with Coney island style chili, yellow mustard and diced onion. Served with chips.

June 20 - Across the Pond Live music by: Because, Beatles Tribute Band Car show featuring: British Cars Featured nonprofit partner: Sierra Forever Families Dinner special: British Pub Grub, Beer battered Pacific cod 'n' Euro style chips, traditional caper tartar sauce and malt vinegar. Served with a lemon wedge.

July 18 - Volkswagon Night Live music by: ZuhG Car show featuring: Volkswagons Featured nonprofit partner: WEAVE, inc. Dinner special: German Street Food, grilled beer bratwurst, sauerkraut and stone ground whole mustard on a hoagie roll. Served with German-style warm potato salad.

July 25 - Old Skool Groove Live music by: East Wind Car show featuring: Lowriders Featured nonprofit partner: Albie Aware Breast Cancer Foundation Dinner specials: Tex-Mex Carnitas Quesadilla, braised pork and jack cheese filled flour tortilla grilled and topped with sour cream, guacamole and cilantro. Served with fire roasted salsa and warm chips.

Register your show car early for extra value! Pre-Registration is $10 per vehicle; car entry includes admission for four that night, six ride tickets good for the carousel or the train, 10% off purchases at the Zoofari Market and 10% off at Kampala Café! Pre-Registration cut-off is 5pm the day before the event. Cars arrive at the front entrance of the Zoo between 4 pm and 5 pm. Space is limited; advance registration is recommended.
Registration after 5pm the day before the event is $10 per vehicle and includes four admissions for that night.
