Offsite Programs Bringing the Zoo to You Classrooms
Are your students looking for a wild adventure without leaving the classroom? We offer age-appropriate programs for preschool through 12th grade. The ZooMobile, our Zoo on wheels, will bring a variety of live animals to your class and discuss topics ranging from how animals move to the plight of endangered species. We have several offsite programs available for groups of 40 people or fewer. We can bring a fun and educational presentation to your senior group with or without live animals. The ZooMobile, our Zoo on wheels, will bring a variety of animals native to North America and talk about our local wildlife. A representative of the Zoo can visit your class to talk about the general careers available in the Zoo field. Zoo veterinary specific talks are not available through the Education Department.
