Memorial for Zoo Director Mary Healy        September 20: 3 to 5 pm
Join us in celebrating the life and works of the late Zoo Director Mary Healy. After a brief 3 pm ceremony, guests are invited to tour the Zoo, remembering Mary’s impact on it and the community. Open to the public.

Red Panda Day        September 27: 10 am to 4 pm
Learn about Red Panda conservation! Kids and adults can become "Red Panda Rangers" after stopping at various stations and completing activities.

Wild Affair Gala Fundraiser  -- SOLD OUT     October 4: 5 to 10 pm

Little Peeps Class for Preschoolers          Classes start October 8th
Little Peeps classes are designed for 3 to 5 year-olds and are packed with fun crafts, games, music and a special visit with one of the Animal Ambassadors.

Open since 1927, the Sacramento Zoo is home to over 140 native, rare and endangered species and is one of over 200 accredited institutions of the Association of Zoos and Aquariums.  The Zoo is wholly managed by the nonprofit Sacramento Zoological Society and inspires conservation awareness through education and recreation.
