FAQ

How many people can I bring?
The number of people allowed in is determined by the level of your membership.  That same number will be honored at the member evening.  If you are unsure of the number of people covered, click here to see member benefits or call the Membership Office at (916) 808-5888.

Can I bring guests that are not covered by my membership?
Yes, as a Zoo Member, you may bring guests to the member evening.  The admission price for guests is $6 for adults, $4 for children ages 2-11, 1 year and under are free.

Do I need to make a reservation?
No. Just bring your membership card, and you will be let in. You may pay for guests at the gate.  

I'm not a Zoo Member but this sounds like fun.  How can I get in?
Become a Sacramento Zoo Member today and start enjoying all the benefits including the Members' Picnic.

Dinner

Bring your own, or Kampala Cafe will be open to purchase dinner!

FAQ

What kind of seating is there?
There will be a limited number of picnic tables on the Reptile House Lawn, as well as indoor and outdoor seating by the Kampala Cafe. You may also bring a picnic blanket and get your family into the spirit!

Will Kampala Cafe have any dinner specials?
Yes, the specials are listed below:

Deli Sandwich - Grilled Tri Tip Hoagie
Thinly sliced garlic rosemary tri tip, grilled sweet peppers and onions, provolone cheese on a Greatful Breads sourdough hoagie with horseradish mayo

Salad Special - Beef and Blue
Thinly sliced garlic rosemary grilled beef tri tip, crumbled Point Reyes blue cheese, chopped hearts of romaine, cucumber and cherry tomatoes tossed in Balsamic vinaigrette

Chef's Special - Tri Tip Dinner
Grilled Angus beef tri tip with house made Jack Daniels BBQ sauce, garlic rosemary roast fingerling potatoes and grilled local delta asparagus

The regular menu will also be available with vegetarian selections

When is the Wildlife Stage Show?
The Wildlife Stage Show will be at 6:30 pm in the Amphitheatre.

Is the whole zoo open that night?
Yes. You can walk through the whole zoo that night.

Is the gift store open?
Yes. The Zoofari Market will be open for your shopping pleasure with a special 20% off discount!

This just doesn't seem like enough for me. What else is there?
