Zoo Camp (Kindergarten - 6th Grade)
Options, Pricing, Details

We, here at the Zoo, feel very strongly that Zoo Camp is meant to be a fun experience and should never feel like school.  We also feel that providing this fun and exciting atmosphere gives us a unique opportunity to reach kids and inspire them to care about wildlife, wild spaces and to act to protect them.

Most frequently asked question: Will my child interact with any of the Zoo animals?
Throughout the week, campers will have opportunities to have up-close encounters with a few of our animals.  Opportunities include a chat with one of our Zookeepers, an animal encounter with the Interpretive Center, an animal feeding, and a chance to create enrichment for one of our animals.  We also provide biofacts (shells, pelts, bones etc.) that the children may touch to enrich their experience.
