Celebrate "Holiday Magic" at the Sacramento Zoo |
The holidays are here and it’s time to enjoy the season! Bundle up the family for Holiday Magic at the Sacramento Zoo on Saturday, December 11th from 10:00 am to 4:00 pm. See the animals receive one-of-a-kind holiday gifts, from wrapped boxes and Christmas trees to treat-filled stockings and acacia wreaths.
Bring the family and take your photo with Gus the Green tree frog, ride the Conservation Carousel, and, of course, watch the animals enjoying their holiday gifts! Throughout the day, animals will get special treats delivered to them. Some of the animal enrichment highlights feature: giraffes, Black & white ruffed lemurs, Snow leopards, and more! Zoo keepers will be on hand to let you in on great animal facts and answer any question you have.
Bring a new, unwrapped toy or non-perishable food item and receive a $1 off your Zoo admission. The U.S. Marine Corps will be taking your toy donations for Toys for Tots and food donations go the Sacramento Food Bank & Family Services.
