Twilight Thursdays at the Sacramento Zoo are June 18 through July 30. Each Thursday at 5:30 enjoy live music featuring local bands on the Reptile House Lawn. New this year explore Jazz with Giraffes Beer and Wine Garden near the Tall Wonders Giraffe Exhibit. Dinner specials, local craft beer and wine will be available for purchase. During Twilight Thursdays the Zoo will be open extended hours for summer enjoyment until 8 pm. 

NOTICE: No outside alcohol allowed.

New this year!
Enjoy the Jazz with Giraffes Beer and Wine Garden featuring live jazz music near the giraffe exhibit while you relax and enjoy local craft beers from Yolo Brewing Company and local wines from Three Wine.

Giraffe Encounters
Get eye-to-eye with the giraffes at a Giraffe Encounter! Encounters start at 6:15 pm and run for approximately one hour. For details, prices and FAQ visit the Giraffe Encounters webpage.

Where is the car show?
The Zoo is home to three approximately 300-year-old Heritage Oak trees on the Reptile House Lawn. In order to protect the trees, they have been fenced off to reduce foot traffic and impact on the roots. The main stage will be in a new location on the Reptile House Lawn. The car shows will not happen due to the limited space.
