Crocodile Sculpture Project

Categories: Visitor Services
Mary Healy, Zoo Director

We are pleased to announce the re-birth of our crocodile at the Australian Outback. Living next to Jack’s Shack, this beloved climb on crocodile has been worn down by countless kids. We are excited to have Stephanie Taylor, a prominent local artist, working on a replacement. This new addition will be one more piece of art on the Zoo’s Self-Guided Art Tour.

Jack’s Shack is named for long time Zoo docent, Earl Jack who passed away in 2005. His wife, Lois, is helping to make this project possible.

Visit Stephanie Taylor’s blog to keep up with her current projects.
