Poker fundraiser to benefit the Sacramento Zoological Society
WHAT’S HAPPENING: Ante up and put on your best poker face at the Sacramento Zoo’s first Texas Hold’em Showdown poker tournament. Take your shot at being Zoo champion and claim your bragging rights while supporting renovations to the Sacramento Zoo's Reptile House.
A $100 buy-in gets you a seat at the Old Sugar Mill in Clarksburg along with good grub, wine, beer, local celebrities, prizes and more!
WHERE: The Old Sugar Mill in Clarksburg; 35265 Willow Ave, Clarksburg, CA 95612.
WHEN: Sunday, February 23rd from 11 am to 3 pm. Lunch and drinks will begin at 11 am and the games will begin at noon.
The Texas Hold’em Showdown poker tournament at the Old Sugar Mill will include good grub, raffle prizes and local celebrity players.
Raffle prizes include Sacramento Kings tickets, golf foursomes, VIP wine tastings and more. Prizes for the top three players are a Mulvaney’s B&L Dinner for 8 in the private Snug Room, a Safari West overnight stay with dinner and a tour for two adults and two children or fifty free Chipotle burritos.
All proceeds will benefit the Sacramento Zoo’s Reptile House renovations which will include enclosure expansions and the creation of more mixed species exhibits, showcasing how they cohabitate.

Sacramento Zoo – Wildly Inspiring!
Open since 1927, the Sacramento Zoo is home to more than 500 native, rare and endangered animals and is one of over 200 accredited institutions of the Association of Zoos and Aquariums. Located near the corner of Land Park Drive and Sutterville Road in William Land Park, the Zoo is wholly managed by the non-profit Sacramento Zoological Society.
